Why pulse surveys?

Boost engagement with pulse surveys

Pulse surveys have revolutionized the way companies measure and improve employee engagement. Instead of waiting for annual surveys, which often become stale before the results are compiled, pulse surveys offer a quick and regular insight into how employees are feeling and what needs to be addressed.

According to Gallup, their latest data reveals that only 3 in 10 employees are truly engaged in their work. This shows how critical it is to listen to the employee voice and act on their feedback. Pulse surveys help companies create a culture where the employee voice is valued, which in turn boosts engagement and loyalty.

Using pulse surveys allows you to identify problems before they grow into bigger challenges. For example, you can quickly spot if stress levels are rising or if the working environment in a team needs to be improved. Pulse surveys are also a powerful tool for measuring the impact of new initiatives and actions - you get immediate feedback and can adjust your efforts to achieve the best possible results.

SimplyPulse makes it easy to customize questions and mailings to your needs, whether it's about communication, leadership or workload. With its user-friendly tool, it creates high response rates and reliable insights. Regular pulse surveys strengthen workplace culture, increase wellbeing and build an environment where employees thrive and perform - all to create real change for both employees and the organization.

Yes, pulse surveys in SimplyPulse are always anonymous. This provides opportunities for employees to share their honest feedback and experiences.

You can set the number of unique users required to display results. We recommend that at least 5 unique users respond to display the results for a segment.

During the trial period, it may be helpful to reduce this number to 3 to facilitate the evaluation of the service.

All data is stored on secure servers in Sweden.

All login to SimplyPulse, both via computer or via the app, is done with two-factor authentication.

There is no requirement for employees to log in to receive the surveys. If you log in, you can choose how you want to receive the surveys, email, SMS and / or push notification, but if you choose nothing, you will receive in the way set by the administrator.

Surveys can be sent out via email, SMS and push notification. Users can choose how they want to receive the surveys. As an administrator, you decide which sending methods will be available.

If you want to receive surveys via push notification, you need to download the SimplyPulse app and log in.

We support all functions in Swedish and English.

The administrator can choose the languages to be available and the time zone to be used.

Please contact us if you wish to display questions in more languages.

Segments are the way in which results and insights can be shown for parts of the company. Examples of segments can be:

  • Departments
  • Localities
  • New employees
  • Permanent employees
  • Hourly workers
  • E.g.

The segments to which a user should be linked are set in the portal (by the administrator), but can also be set when importing users (by SimplyPulse).

Only administrators can edit and create surveys. Administrators can see all results from surveys both in total and broken down by segment.

Managers can see results for the segments they are assigned to manage. It is possible to have multiple managers for the same segment.

New users can be added to the portal in two different ways:

  1. Manually by administrator
  2. Via file import (e.g. excel) by SimplyPulse

Normally, all users are imported at start-up, and then changes such as terminations and new hires are handled manually by the administrator.

The import also creates all segments, which saves a lot of time compared to doing this manually.

A user needs a name, e-mail address and a unique ID (e.g. employee number) to be added to the portal. We also recommend that the start date of the company is given to be able to filter surveys in the best way.

Users can enter their mobile phone number if they wish to receive surveys via SMS.

Categories are the way in which different questions can be grouped together and then compared over time and between segments.

Examples of categories could be

  • Engagement: Measures employees' enthusiasm, emotional involvement and satisfaction with their work and roles.
  • Communication: Evaluates clarity, effectiveness and flow of information between teams and leadership.
  • Culture: Examines shared values, behaviors and sense of inclusion in the workplace.
  • Balance: Assesses how well employees balance work responsibilities with personal life and well-being.
  • E.g.

Yes, SimplyPulse has templates for 6 different categories and a number of standard questions for each category.

Whether you use templates or create new categories and questions, you decide all the details yourself.

In the pulse measurement, there is always a 1-5 scale on the questions that are summed up to each category. You decide whether you can also leave a comment on the question.

It is also possible to supplement the questionnaires with text questions.

No. The AI support only handles aggregated and anonymous results. No personal data, no individual responses, and no identifiable data is sent or analyzed by the AI.

No. The AI support in SimplyPulse never runs automatically. It is always an administrator who actively chooses when an analysis should be performed. This means that you have full control over when, how, and whether AI is used to analyze the results.
